LOCAL FACULTIES BIOGRAPHY 12th Edition of Gastro Abu Dhabi International GI Conference 2026 ABOUT THE FACULTY Dr. Kuldeep Singh is a Specialist Gastroenterologist and Advanced Interventional Endoscopist at LLH Hospital, Abu Dhabi. He holds a DM in Gastroenterology & Hepatology and an MD in Internal Medicine, with extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal, liver and pancreatobiliary disorders. His clinical interests include advanced endoscopy, ERCP, EUS, third-space endoscopy including POEM, inflammatory bowel disease and hepatology. He has performed more than 10,000 endoscopic procedures and is actively involved in research, academic activities, medical education and quality improvement in gastroenterology. Dr. Kuldeep Singh Gastroenterologist LLH Hospital, Abu Dhabi Dr. Linette Achecar Justo is a Gastroenterologist at NMC Royal Hospital in Abu Dhabi, with more than 16 years of experience in gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy. She completed her medical training in the Dominican Republic, followed by specialist gastroenterology training in Spain and a PhD focused on liver disease from the University of Alcalá de Henares. Her areas of interest include liver and pancreatic diseases, bowel disorders, reflux disease, advanced endoscopy, motility disorders and intragastric balloon procedures. Dr. Linette Justo Gastroenterologist NMC Royal Hospital, Abu Dhabi Dr. Mahesh Rama Varma is Head of Gastroenterology at NMC Royal Hospital DIP, Dubai. He is an experiencedGastroenterologist, Interventional Gastroenterologist and Endoscopic Ultrasound specialist with expertise in digestive and liver disorders. Dr. Varma completed his MBBS from Government Medical College Thrissur, followed by MD in General Medicine from JIPMER and DM in Gastroenterology fromMedical College Trivandrum. His clinical practice focuses on advanced gastroenterological diagnosis and therapeutic endoscopic care. Dr. Majidah Bukhari is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Head of the Gastroenterology Department at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital, Dubai. She holds American, Canadian and British board certifications in gastroenterology and internal medicine and has extensive expertise in digestive and liver diseases, advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, ERCP, EUS, POEM, inflammatory bowel disease and gastrointestinal motility disorders. Her clinical interests also include endoscopic management of obesity, reflux disease and complex gastrointestinal conditions. She is actively involved in medical education and professional gastroenterology activities.
