Local Speakers 11th Edition of Gastro Abu Dhabi International GI Conference 2025 Dr. Saeed Al Marzooqi Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) Abu Dhabi, UAE Dr. Almarzooqi graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and completed fellowships in hepatology research, clinical gastroenterology, clinical hepatology and transplant hepatology from the University of Toronto. He has multiple publications in the field of hepatology and has delivered presentations at regional and international meetings. Dr. Almarzooqi’s main fields of interest include liver disease and pre and post-liver transplant care. He is currently the director of the hepatology service and the programme director of the gastroenterology fellowship at SSMC. Dr. Sarah Al Ouali Associate Professor Digestive Disease Institute, Cleveland Clinic, Abu Dhabi, UAE Dr. Sara El Ouali, MD, is a staff physician in the Gastroenterology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. She's also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. A graduate of McGill University in Montreal, she was recognized for her academic excellence and compassion, earning the Ezra Lozinski prize during her internal medicine residency.
